Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, India fast bowler Mohammed Shami and head coach Ravi Shastri have exchanged Eid festivities on social media platform Twitter.
With the auspicious festival falling during a global crisis, people across the world have had no option than to celebrate the festival with their family members inside their homes.
Shastri was among the many prominent names who took to their Twitter handle to wish everyone well regarding the festival. Shastri, who had expressed priority towards IPL 2020 and bilateral series before world events, inquired Shami with respect to seviyan.

Shami, who would have been playing for Kings XI Punjab in the 13th season of the Indian Premier League had it not been for the coronavirus pandemic, soon posted a photo of seviyan, kheer and mutton biryani as a response to Shastri’s tweet.
“Ravi bhai app ki Seviyan ,kheer ,or Mutton biryani maine Corriere kardia hey Kucch time main pahunch jaega dekhlo app [I have couriered your seviyan, kheer and mutton biryani. Will reach you in sometime],” read Shami’s tweet.
Replying to Shami’s adorable tweet, Shastri laid emphasis on eating together after the lockdown gets over and further highlighted how the whole team would be looking forward to the festivities.
