Global apparel retailer UNIQLO is launching the Billie Eilish by Takashi Murakami UT collection, which includes exclusively-designed T-shirts and hats for men, women and children. The collaboration was born out of an Instagram exchange between the American musician and Japanese artist that led to the pair jointly creating the music video for Eilish’s song “You Should See Me in a Crown.” A sartorial extension of their mutual admiration, the collection for UNIQLO’s UT line will be made available beginning on May 25.

The capsule showcases the unique perspectives of both artists through bold graphics and prints. Murakami reimagines Eilish’s logo and aesthetic with his iconic vibrant flowers, which are applied to statement-making oversized tops. The designs also include a collage of Eilish’s photos, a sketch from her music video and a UT-original Billie Eilish logo. “Two of the most influential global creators come together as a new expression of art for all,” says John C. Jay, President of Global Creative for UNIQLO.

The Billie Eilish by Takashi Murakami UT collection will be available at select UNIQLO stores globally and on the retailer’s website starting May 25. Sales quantity may be limited due to difficulty accessing the online store because of heavy traffic but simply wait and try accessing again. Head to UNIQLO’s site now to make sure you don’t miss out on this rare collaboration.
