COVID-19: Results of 285 samples awaited

Dimapur, May 25: Out of a total of 1331 suspected COVID-19 samples from Nagaland tested so far, 3 samples were tested positive and 1046 negative. The results for 285 samples are awaited.
Briefing on COVID-19 status of the State, Minister Neiba Kronu informed that on Monday a total of 1783 persons were screened for COVID-19. A total of 2831 persons are presently under facility quarantine, he said.
Kronu informed that 11, 987 citizens have signed up in the nCOVID-19 Nagaland – Visitors App since 23rd March 2020 and in the last 14 days 2286 persons have submitted their travel self declaration. At present 1446 persons are being digitally monitored through the nCOVID-19 Nagaland – Visitors App.
He also appealed to all not to panic, and at the same time, continue to be cautious and follow the safety guidelines issued by the Government from time to time. The Minister further appealed to all to refrain from spreading rumours and also not stigmatize or discriminate any infected person, their families and frontline workers but continue to support them.
