Driver freed by firefighters after crash in Derbyshire street
They were getting treatment from paramedics
by Chris MallettFirefighters cut a driver free after their car crashed in a Derbyshire street.
The incident happened in The Firs, Ashbourne, at noon.
A tweet from Derbyshire Fire and Rescue said a crew from Ashbourne attended the collision and used equipment from their fire engine and a specialist support vehicle to free the casualty.
It said: "The crew were able to free a casualty from the car and in to the care of paramedics."

When our reporter attended the scene they could see a car with the bonnet up and a collapsed bin in front of it.
There was one police car at the scene.
