Curfew Extended till June 30 in Solan and Hamirpur of Himachal Pradesh -

Authorities in Hamirpur and Solan districts of Himachal Pradesh on Monday extended the Covid-19 curfew till June 30, whereas one-fourth of the total cases of corona virus in Himachal Pradesh are in Hamirpur district. So far 214 cases of fatal virus infection have been reported in the state out of which 63 cases are in Hamirpur and 21 cases in Solan and five people have died in the state.

Let us tell you that during the last 24 hours in Himachal, a 75-year-old infected woman died during treatment. Officials said that after the death of the woman, the number of people who lost their lives in the state has increased to five. Senior Medical Superintendent of the hospital Janak Raj said that the woman was confirmed to be infected with Covid-19 on Saturday and she died in the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) of Shimla at 10.15 pm on Sunday, he told that the woman had many diseases and was sent to IGMC from Hamirpur.

Hamirpur District Magistrate said that earlier the woman’s husband was found infected and two days later on Saturday, the woman was also confirmed infected. He told that the woman went to Jalandhar in Punjab for treatment and after coming back, she was admitted to Government Medical College, Hamirpur, where she was sent to IGMC after her condition deteriorated, her samples were examined there and she was confirmed infected on Saturday.
