One arrested for selling spoilt meat in Oman

Muscat: A citizen has been arrested at Nizwa in Al Dakhliyah Governorate for selling spoilt meat.

A statement issued online by the General Directorate of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources of Al Dakhliyah Governorate said: "Nizwa Municipality arrested a citizen who sold spoilt meat. 352 lamb carcasses and 1,000 kg of chicken, stored in an unhealthy manner, were destroyed.
