Police appeal after car stolen in Perthshire town seen in Fife

Police Scotland has launched an appeal for information following the theft of a car in a Perthshire town.

A silver Seat Leon was stolen from an address in Bridgefauld Road, Milnathort between 8pm on May 20 and 4am on May 21.

The car was seen being driven in Dunfermline following the theft.

A Police Scotland statement said: “Police Scotland is appealing for information about the theft of a car from an address in Bridgefauld Road, Milnathort, between 8pm Wednesday 20th – 4am Thursday 21st May.

“The car, a silver Seat Leon, carried the registration KV08 XYE when it was taken.

“It was seen being driven in Dunfermline about 4am on Thursday 21st after having been stolen.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting reference number 4339 of May 21.

Alternatively, information can be given anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
