Angry Neighbor Punishes Ford Mustang Owner With Foam

Broken by the Stang's unrelenting exhaust noise, an angry neighbor 'fixes' Mustang's exhaust.

If you're thinking of buying an aftermarket exhaust then you might want to read this story first. Aaron Robinson, the owner of a sweet-looking Ford Mustang GT, woke up one day to find that an angry neighbor had filled the car's exhaust system with Great Stuff expanding foam. Robinson uploaded a photo to his Facebook page along with an accompanying letter. "I finally found you!" the letter reads. "You want our attention, you don't want our attention. You have 14 days to fix the mufflers or put the stock [exhaust] back on."

But the threats didn't stop there.

"Don't egg us on, you will only regret it. We encourage you to call the police [or] install video [cameras], nothing will work." It ultimately concludes by demanding to "Fix your muffler!"

Naturally, Robinson was less than thrilled. Responding to one of the many comments, Robinson said that not only did he file a police report over the incident, but also had harsh words for the letter writer. "I hope someone gets covid and dies a slow painful death over this."

Whoever said interesting things don't happen in the suburbs?

Based on his FB profile, it's clear Robinson's Mustang GT isn't stock. Things like larger rear tires and rims have been added, but we don't know if anything new has happened under the hood. In any case, this is a situation that could easily get out of control.

There's no evidence that Robinson was obnoxiously revving his Mustang in this neighborhood but we suspect he may have fired up the 460-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 a couple of times in the early hours if that was the response he got. Hopefully, the repair job isn't too costly and this all ends amicably. But we have a feeling we haven't heard the last of it.
