GPRN/NSCN reacts to tax demand charge

GPRN/NSCN has reacted to what it described as “undesired and assumptive allegation” from some quarters of civil bodies concerning “harassment and forced taxation demand” served on the proprietor of Progressive Motors, Darogapathar allegedly by its cadres.

GPRN/NSCN through its MIP regretted the “unfortunate development befalling upon the proprietor of M/s Progressive Motors.” GPRN/NSCN stated it has decided to constitute a committee for appropriate and befitting enquiry and investigation of the matter “in line with maintaining our commitment for cordial and ideal relationship with the Naga people in every endeavour.”

GPRN/NSCN has, therefore, urged the civil societies “to hold on from making unduly interpretations of the issue until then.”
