Σάλος από ανάρτηση ξένης ΜΚΟ: Κάνει λόγο για το "ελληνικό κομμάτι της Λέσβου"- Μήνυση καταθέτει η Περιφέρεια
Μήνυση θα υποβάλλει κατά της ΜΚΟ CORONA AWARENESS TEAM η Περιφέρια Βορείου Αγαίου μετά την ανάρτηση της ΜΚΟ στην οποία έκανε λόγο για το "Ελληνικό τμήμα της νήσου (Λέσβου)…", εξαιρώντας το ΚΥΤ της Μόριας.

Moria camp was never totally closed and people could come in and out. The group, which is made up of refugees in the camp, tells the other residents about the danger of infection, about the importance of washing their hands and keeping as much distance as possible. –There is a water shortage in the camp, so it is difficult to wash your hands as much as is recommended. In addition, social distance is impossible. The conditions are only getting worse here," he told VG."
Έπειτα από το περίεργο αυτό δημοσίευμα, η Περιφερειακή Αρχή Βορείου Αιγαίου ανακοίνωσε ότι θα καταθέσει μηνυτήρια αναφορά στην αρμόδια Εισαγγελία κατά της οργάνωσης MORIA CORONA AWARENESS TEAM καθώς όπως τονίζει:
"Σε δημοσίευσή της με ημερομηνία 21.05.2020 αναφέρεται στο "…Ελληνικό τμήμα της νήσου (Λέσβου)…" ( "…Greek side of island…”), αναφερόμενη στο τμήμα της Λέσβου πλην του Κ.Υ.Τ Μόριας, υπονοώντας ότι το έδαφος της δομής δεν αποτελεί Ελληνική επικράτεια. Επειδή η αμφισβήτηση της αδιαμφισβήτητης εθνικής κυριαρχίας μας αποτελεί ποινικό αδίκημα, καταθέτουμε σχετική μηνυτήρια αναφορά στην αρμόδια Εισαγγελία".
Διευκρινήσεις για τη δημοσίευση που προκάλεσε σάλο, έδωσε μιλώντας στον ραδιοφωνικό σταθμό της Θεσσαλονίκης, Status 107,7 το μέλος της οργάνωσης Μοχάμεντ Αλί Ζαντάχ.
Η οργάνωση αποτελείται οπως είπε από μετανάστες και πρόσφυγες που μένουν μέσα στη δομή της Μόριας και πρόσθεσε ότι στόχος δεν ήταν να δημιουργήσουν θέμα αμφισβήτησης της ελληνικότητας της Λέσβου με τη συγκεκριμένη αναφορά, αλλά να καταδείξουν τις τεράστιες διαφορές ανάμεσα στο υπόλοιπο νησί και τη Μόρια. Μόρια, που όπως είπε οι συνθήκες είναι πολύ κακές.
"Κανένας δεν θέλει να μείνει εδώ (στη Μόρια) ούτε για μία μέρα, είναι πολύ επικίνδυνο μέρος" είπε χαρακτηριστικά.
Moria Corona Awareness TeamClarification We see a statement of us led to a big misunderstanding, but good we can clarify. Some people seem to think we want to take anything in Greece or Lesvos. We dont want. We are forced to stay here and wait for months. If they could immediate all refugees would leave. Every time people are resettled especially to other European countries the ones left behind feel sad and left behind. Moria is a hell and no human being should live in these conditions for one day. But we know we have no other chance so we try to survive and help in these Corona times. We knew if Corona come to this camp this will be a huge problem not only for us but for all Greek citizens too. So we worked together to prevent that. For us there is Moria, the hell, and the the rest of Lesvos and we call it the Greek side. No one of us wants anything but to leave as soon a possible and we want the same like so many people of this island: That this terrible situation for all stops. If anyone even thinks we want to take anything, he does not understand our situation. We are trying to help and when some colleagues worked, they helped building a school for children to learn. "Το άρθρο με την επίμαχη αναφορά, γράφτηκε από τον υπεύθυνο ΜΜΕ της οργάνωσης και θα δούμε όπως είπε, αν θα χρειαστεί να το αλλάξουμε ή να πούμε σε όλους τι εννοούσαμε. Σε καμία περίπτωση δεν εννοούσαμε τον "διαχωρισμό" του νησιού.
Σύμφωνα με το μέλος της οργάνωσης, που είναι και ο ίδιος μετανάστης και ζει στη Μόρια με την οικογένειά του- η καταγωγή τους είναι από το Αφγανιστάν- δεν έχουν χρηματοδότηση από καμία πηγή, αλλά έχουν βοήθεια σε αναγκαία υλικά από μια ελληνική ΜΚΟ, την Stand By Me.
