by

Milkman, a Milan-based logistics and delivery platform, has raised €25 million in its third round of funding, with backing from Poste Italiane, P101 sgr, Italia500, Vertis and 360 Capital. The deal includes an agreement between Milkman and Poste to create a new premium service, MLK Deliveries, specifically for Poste customers.

The Italian company focuses on last-mile logistics for e-commerce companies, giving shoppers the option to specify delivery times and track the shipment. People have the option of same-day delivery or a half hour delivery window on a day that suits their schedule. Clients include Eataly Today, Coop, Nespresso, Zara and Tannico.

Founded five years ago, Milkman has closed two other rounds of funding in 2016 and 2018, raising €35 million to date. Currently operating in the provinces of Milan, Rome and Turin, the company wants to use this new funding to expand its territory and fuel international growth.
