Speculation surrounding Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez’s future won’t go away.

The Mexican has been linked with virtually every top club across Europe, including Premier League duo Liverpool and Manchester United.

However, Jimenez - who has scored 22 times for Wolves this season - isn’t paying much attention to what’s being written about him.

“I find out [about the links with other clubs] through social media,” Jimenez said recently.

“They have already put me at Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and every day comes out a new team that want [to sign] me.

“I have to be calm. If they are talking about me it is because I am doing things well; I would like to continue in England. I am happy, adapted and I like the idea [of staying in the Premier League].”

For now Jimenez’s focus is on Wolves, as well as the impending arrival of his first child. Despite some confusion created by the gender reveal, which was staged at Molineux earlier this year, Jimenez and his partner Daniela Basso are expecting a baby girl in the coming weeks.

And the couple have posted a Wolves-themed picture to their social media channels which has delighted supporters.

Hundreds of Wolves fans have been reacting to the picture on Twitter and Facebook. “Wolves ay we,” said one, while another added: “Once a Wolf, always a Wolf.”

Jimenez has also been linked with a move to Serie A club Juventus, as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The striker joined Wolves from Benfica for £32.6million and he's scored 39 times in 86 appearances in old gold.
