RTÉ launch new original series 'Kevin Paints' available on the player
by Sophie CollinsRTÉ has today launched a brand new series from Kevin McGahern, Kevin Paints, comprising of four 10-minute episodes, with the first available today, May 25.
In this new series, Kevin McGahern adds a splash of paint to a good old fashioned conversation, where he will interview Irish celebrities over video chat while painting their portrait.
Shot in his sitting room, Kevin chats to Derry Girls star Saoirse-Monica Jackson, comedians Pat Shortt & Joanne McNally and fellow artist Don Conroy about life, the universe and adapting to change, all while attempting to paint their portrait.
Kevin Paints is the laid back chat show you never knew you needed.
Episode one of the series is now available on the player and sees Derry Girls star Saoirse-Monica Jackson give Kevin a tour of her London houseshare and talks about her stint as a door to door salesperson, fame in the US and how winning the Bake Off proved to her mam that she’s not utterly useless.
Meanwhile, Kevin hopes his portrait attempts don’t disappoint, as he admits he struggles to capture female beauty!
