Ross County release ex-Rangers and Aberdeen defender Richard Foster along with THIRTEEN other players
by Robert ThomsonROSS COUNTY have released defender Richard Foster along with thirteen other players.
The veteran right-back joined from St Johnstone last year but has joined first-teamers Lewis Spence, Sean Kelly and Declan McManus in departing.
County also freed ten of their youth team as they prepare for a cutback of up to 35% in the year ahead.
Co-managers Steven Ferguson and Stuart Kettlewell said: “Firstly, we thank Lewis, Sean, Declan and Richard for their service to the club.
“We wish them further success in their football careers, and they will always be warmly welcomed back to the club for their contributions in their time here.
“It is with regret that we have to let a number of our younger players go.

County have extended Tom Grivosti and Harry Paton’s deals, while Callum Morris and Marcus Fraser are expected to sign on again.
The County gaffers added: “We are delighted with Tom & Harry committing their futures to the club.
“We view both players as having big futures in the game and hope they will continue to prosper here in Dingwall.”
