Lorraine Kelly lays into Dominic Cummings in savage rant

Good Morning Britain host Lorraine Kelly was forced to explain where Doctor Hilary Jones was after he was missing from Monday's show.

The show's resident health expert has been ever present throughout lockdown, giving daily advice to millions of viewers on everything from the similarity between hayfever and coronavirus symptoms to whether we should be wearing protective masks to go out running.

So many regular GMB viewers were shocked and slightly worried when he failed to appear on screen on Monday. And he wasn't the only one absent either, as both Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were also replaced, with Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins anchoring the show.

Putting viewers at ease after revealing a number of messages had come in asking why Dr Hilary wasn't there, Lorraine revealed: "A lot of people are wondering where Dr H is....he's taking a well deserved break!"

Reacting to how GMB were treating the Dominic Cummings controversy, one frustrated viewer tweeted: "Bring back doctor Hilary."

And another, referencing Piers, posted: "I am more annoyed at the way he talks over Dr Hilary and treats him like an idiot. I want to hear the views of a medical professional not an obnoxious bore who thinks he knows better."
