Moment angry farmer covers Mercedes in SLURRY after owner parked on his field 'to go to the beach'

by

A farmer has covered a Mercedes Benz in slurry after the driver parked on his land so they could get to the beach.

The tractor driver fired muck all over the luxury car near a gate on his farm in Tintagel, Cornwall.

Footage of the incident emerged after thousands flocked to the coast to enjoy the warm weather over the bank holiday weekend.

In the clip, posted online by Robbie Nute, who works on Clifden Farm, the countryman can be heard saying: 'The beach is nice and busy today - everyone social distancing I suppose. That busy, they've decided to park in the field.'

A child asks the man what he plans to do, before the farmer replies: 'I've nearly finished mate, I'm not stopping.'

At this point the husbandman, who is driving a Claas, sends the slurry flying out the back of his vacci tank and all over the black Mercedes.

The countryman says: 'I hope you have as much fun washing your car as I am going to have painting it for you.'

The footage, which has been seen more than 27,000 times, divided social media users, with some defending the farmer and others siding with the Mercedes owner.

One person posted: 'If you're going to the beach and there's nowhere to park, don't illegally use a farmers field... especially when they are spreading slurry. Only in Cornwall.'

Another added: 'Personally I don't see a problem with the farmer doing this, if you have the stupidity to park on someone's property illegally then I'm afraid you deal with the consequences he got of lightly, park on my drive and you would be blocked in for many hours to come.'

But one man wrote: 'I am sorry, I think it is mean and horrible. Used to live in Cornwall and loved it but this is disgraceful.

'He did it on purpose for no good reason at all. Obviously even this damned virus situation hasn't changed some people for the better.'
