Maharashtra is witnessing a spike in COVID-19 cases with each passing day. As per reports by the state health department, the total number of cases in Maharashtra now stands at 50,231. The state recorded 3041 new cases while 58 people succumbed to the infection on Sunday. Amid the lockdown, people celebrated the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.
