Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been helping migrants workers and those less privileged reach home and has earned several accolades for his efforts from the film industry, politicians as well as his fans. His Twitter feed is filled with people asking for his help to reach home.

However, recently a fan asked him a quirky question and Sonu was quick to reply in his own style. A fan wrote, "Sonu bhai main apne ghar me fasa hua hu. Mujhe theke tak pahucha do (Brother, I am stuck at my home, please help me reach a liquor shop)." The actor replied, "Bhai main theke se ghar tak to pahucha sakta hu, zarurat pade to bol dena (Brother, I can help you reach home from a liquor shop, if you need help do tell me)."

Recently, Union minister Smriti Irani also praised the actor and said, "I’ve had the privilege of knowing you as a professional colleague for over 2 decades now @SonuSood and celebrated your rise as an actor, but the kindness you have displayed in these challenging times makes me prouder still thank you for helping those in need."

In a recent interview with Zee News, Sonu opened up about his initiative and said that he will not rest until every migrant worker is back home safely. "I will continue my work until every migrant worker reaches their home. I don't mind the hard work it requires but it is important for me that everyone reaches their home," Sonu said.

For the uninformed, Sonu has been feeding more than 45,000 people every day in Andheri, Juhu, Jogeshwari, and Bandra. The actor has been arranging buses and tickets for migrants who want to go back to their native villages.
