John Abraham and Diana Penty get nostalgic as ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’ clocks 2 years

John Abraham and Diana Penty starrer ‘Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran’ was one of the most loved films of 2018. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film was highly praised by the critics and audience alike. The film faced some issues before releasing in the theatres but it still managed to win the hearts of everyone with its amazing content.

Today, as the film has clocked 2 years, John and Diana have taken to their respective social media accounts and posted about the same.

Taking to his Instagram account, John wrote, “It's been TWO YEARS!! Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran, a salute to India's Unsung Heroes- the Indian Army, scientists, bureaucrats & intelligence agencies who worked tirelessly against all odds to ensure that India found its place in the World Nuclear Map.”

Diana too shared the same on her Instagram account and wrote, “Aaj ka passcode hai: #2YearsOfParmanu! 😄”

Earlier, speaking to a news portal, John spoke about the ongoing coronavirus lockdown. He said that the police, the army and the medical professionals are the COVID-19 warriors who are risking their lives to save others. They are real life superheroes. According to the actor, situation brings out unusual heroes and this pandemic has brought out the likeliest ones, that’s the people in the medical profession.

The actor, who has also generously made donations to the relief fund, says that he does not prefer to make it public. Although he says people who have announced, has done a fantastic job, he is somebody who would not make it public.

Meanwhile, on the work front, John will next be seen in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Mumbai Saga’ which also stars Emraan Hashmi and others in lead roles. Apart from that, he will also be seen in ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’. John has also been roped in for Mohit Suri’s ‘Ek Villain 2. The movie also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
