Producers Guild frames guidelines for Bollywood to resume shoot, thanks Maha CM for considering request

by

Producers Guild of India has drafted new protocols for the film and TV industry, which will be followed once they are granted the permission to resume shoot. In a post thanking Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, they shared on Twitter, “Thank you @CMOMaharashtra for considering requests from the Film & TV industry to resume work safely. In the link below are the Guild’s recommended SOPs, to be instituted whenever we are granted permission to resume production activities.”

They also posted a guide of the new protocols that have to be followed. All the necessary precautionary measures included practices like sanitizing the studios, keeping the restrooms clean and calling the crew, artists & participants at-least 45 mins prior to shoot.

Because of the lockdown, Salman Khan missed his date with fans. He was yet to shoot a few portions for his Eid release ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ but the same was cancelled and the film did not release on the festive occasion. On the other hand, films like ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘83’ and ‘Coolie No 1’ were postponed.
