TN CM visits Deputy CM at hospital, says OPS is fine

Chennai: Ruling AIADMK coordinator and Tamilnadu Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam was admitted to a private hospital for a master health check-up.

A statement from MGM Healthcare, where he was admitted last evening, said Panneerselvam was admitted for a master health check-up and was in good health.

“A team of doctors examined Paneerselvam and all reports are within the desired parameters”, it said. He would be discharged today evening.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami visited the Deputy Chief Minister at the hospital and enquired about his health condition.

He was accompanied by Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr C Vijayabaskar. Palaniswami said Panneerselvam was in good health.

Senior AIADMK leaders, including C Ponnaiyan, K P Munusamy, R Vaithiligam, visited him at the hospital and also enquired about his health condition.

Meanwhile, Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan spoke to Panneerselvam over phone and enquired about his health condition. In a tweet, she said she pray the Almighty for his speedy recovery.
