Medicom Toy Channels Aliens from 'Toy Story' in New BE@RBRICK
Reimagining the three-eyed extraterrestrial.
by Charlie ZhangMedicom Toy has brought out everyone’s favorite three-eyed extrateerrestrial from the Toy Story franchise. The Japanese toymaker has reimagined its BE@RBRICK into Pixar‘s Alien character. This release follows a sizeable “Green Army Men” figure unveiled last month, another character from the same animation.
Medicom Toy’s depiction of the Alien retains the character’s signature three-eyed profile. It comes with a wide, articulated mouth that stretches from one side of the face to the other, complemented by pointy ears and three eyebrows. The figure is dressed in a bright blue jumpsuit, embellished with graphics on both the front and backside: an illustration of a planet at the front and a motif which commemorates the animation’s 25th anniversary at the back. Other details like the character’s purple collar as well as its dark blue belt and boots round up the quirky designs of the little green character.
