A single mother has revealed how she transformed her kitchen for under £100, using her DIY skills and budget buys found during the lockdown.
Carly Thomas, from Telford, Shropshire, decided to give her kitchen a new lease of life for herself and her children, as the family found themselves spending most of their time at home amid coronavirus.
The mother-of-three revealed how she spent just £80 after picking up paint and stencil for her floor tiles from B&Q and Amazon.
Sharing the results to Facebook page DIY On A Budget, Carly racked up over 1.3k likes and comments from impressed users.
The before picture showed a wooden-themed, dated kitchen with non-matching appliances, yellow walls and grey tiles.
Carly decided to paint the kitchen units grey with B&Q paint in 'Eggshell' costing £40, giving the room a modern feel.
She then covered the floor with a £15 stencil, along with £25 floor paint and varnish, giving it a vibrant new Geometric look.
