Kim Kardashian and Kanye West mark wedding anniversary amid lockdown tensions

Kim Kardashian has marked the sixth wedding anniversary of her marriage to Kanye West with a bombardment of loved up photographs.

The 39-year-old reality star has been married to 42-year-old Kanye since 2014 – when they married at an overly extravagant ceremony complete with gold plate toilets.

While Kim is wife number one for Kanye, he is husband number three for her following her failed marriage to Damon Thomas between 2000 and 2004, and her short marriage to Kris Humphries between 2011 and 2013, which collapsed after 72 days.

But the past is not on the mind of Kim, who only has plans for her future – which she made clear as she shared snaps of herself kissing and hugging her husband all over Instagram on Saturday.

Sharing a collage of Polaroids and other photographs, Kim captioned the memories: “6 years down; forever to go, until the end.”

Younger sister Khloe Kardashian remarked: “Long live Kimye,” as she and other follower rushed to congratulate the star.

But the celebrations come amid reports of tensions between Kim and her rapper husband.

Earlier this month, a source close to the pair told Us Weekly that Kim was struggling to be cooped up with her husband all day, every day amid California coronavirus lockdown procedures.

The reality star reportedly felt she needed: “some space from Kanye,” the source claimed.

They continued: “She is trying to be a great mom, focus on law school and her work commitments and it's hard to do all of this without Kanye helping as much as he can.”

The source also suggested Kanye's “super-controlling” nature made Kim feel: “as though he's been trying to impose his views on her life.”

While further sources have said the couple are trying to avoid each other as much as possible by occupying opposite sides of their mansion.

A source told The Sun: “Kim and Kanye are arguing and at each other's throats during this pandemic.

“Kim is getting stir crazy, as she's used to being on the go. It's also a lot of time alone with the kids for her.”

Kim and Kany have four children Psalm, ten months, Saint, four, Chicago two, and six-year-old North.

North branded her mother “mean” last month, after the reality star complained on social media about “not being left alone” by her children.
