After coming out of Bigg Boss 13, Rashami Desai grabbed headlines for bagging Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 4. Her fans were happy when she got an opportunity to be a part of one of the successful television franchises. However, Rashami couldn’t do much of shooting a few days after she was offered the role, a lockdown was implemented all over India.

The lockdown has been going on since March. Due to the same, the shooting of all TV shows, including Naagin 4 was stopped. The latest news will upset all fans as Rashami Desai may no longer be a part of this supernatural drama. As reported by Spotboye, the makers had to let go of the actress due to budget issues.

A source informed the portal, “The channel held a meeting with the makers and cast recently, after which Rashami was told that her character of Shlakha will not be taken forward. The channel and the producers are wanting to bring the budget down as we know how crunched the market is as of now. And Rashami was an expensive resource.”

That’s not it. The report mentioned that Naagin 4 makers are also planning to replace the lead cast. This Colors drama stars Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, Rashami Desai has not yet reacted to the news of being sacked from Naagin 4. Not even the makers have made it official. So only the actress and Ekta Kapoor can confirm or deny these speculations.
