Future's 'High Off Life' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200
Polo G, Lil Uzi Vert and Drake appear in this week’s top 10.
by Sophie CaraanFuture is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 1 as High Off Life debuts with 153,000 equivalent album units, including 134,000 in streaming equivalent album units, 16,000 in album sales and a little over 2,000 in track equivalent album units. This marks the rapper’s biggest week for a solo album yet as the album surpasses DS2‘s 151,000-unit launch in August 2015.
Following Future at No. 2 is Polo G with The GOAT, debuting with 99,000 equivalent album units. Of that number, 85,000 is credited to streaming equivalent album units (translating to 129.4 million on-demand streams of the songs), 14,000 in album sales and under 1,000 in track equivalent album units. His sophomore effort moves past Die a Legend‘s No. 6 debut and peak in June 2019.
Elsewhere on the chart, Lil Baby steps down to No. 3 followed by Drake‘s Dark Lane Demo Tapes and DaBaby‘s Blame It On Baby at Nos. 4 and 5. Lil Uzi Vert, The Weeknd and Post Malone move up to Nos. 6, 7 and 8, while Jason Isbell and NAV close out the chart at Nos. 9 and 10.
