Man dies on roof in Golden Point: authorities investigating

Authorities are investigating after a man died while working on a roof in Golden Point on Monday morning.

Emergency services were called to the Bond Street address about 9.30am.

Firefighters were called to assist with access to the roof, while police and paramedics also responded.

According to a police spokesperson, the cause of death is not believed to be suspicious.

It is believed the man was working on an air conditioner.

Police and WorkSafe are investigating the incident.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
