Shaveta Nabil : A Never Ending Journey of Jammu’s own daughter

This is the story of Jammu’s son of soil Shweta, who hails from Samba District and is setting examples pan India with her talent.

Music academy, never wondered of such an academy to enhance me to sing! I was 7 then, randomly went to a music academy and sang a song there. Smt. and Sh. Deep Suman ji, my gurus from when I was learning to do little things by my own, he motivated me to learn singing

I remember winning the title of JK-IDOL, getting lot of love and support on my official Facebook page, followed by getting declared as a Verified Celebrity Influencer by Amazon and receiving Women Achievers’ Award at the stage of Miss and Mrs. India 2019 – India Fashion Icon, was not any of the ideas in my mind. I never thought of things happening as quickly as I step up gradually. Nothing is ready made as it’s said; but yes, hard work is meant to have your destiny by your side and not vice versa.

Struggling is so obvious and a part of everyone’s beautiful journey, which is indeed essential. I would say one is blessed if they face obstacles in their journeys, as stones are created after harsh movements and weathering, that shapes them much more stronger than before. Due to many unavoidable circumstances, I had to stop singing for a relative period of time. Thereafter, to resume singing again was the most challenging moment for me. My inspiration has always been my Gurus who taught me music and always inspired me a lot. And my role models in the field are Lata Mangeshkar and Arijit Singh because of their struggles and hard-work in music.

I couldn’t get proper support from my family during my childhood. But I somehow managed to learn music for a long period of time. After completing graduation in music, I again didn’t get support to learn music further professionally but I still didn’t stop learning music. I used to go to music academies to gain more and more knowledge. Then because of less exposure and lack of opportunities in my hometown, I couldn’t see any career in music there. So, I had to stop singing for few years and I started working to earn money. But I still didn’t quit my passion. I kept practicing and singing whenever and however I could. Then after my marriage, I resumed singing but I again faced lot of challenges to restart my music career and that too in a different city. It was although tough, but I never lost hope and kept moving ahead. I never left the other worldly things of my life because they are also important for the survival. But even working full time, I still make sure to give proper time to my passion of music. Now as I get a lot of time for music, I always keep a balance between my passion and my family, which is actually important, especially when you’ve just started.

My husband, I’m thankful to, for encouraging me and bringing music back to my life after marriage. For motivating me to follow what I want to be in. For promising to help me in all possible ways to pursue my passion for singing. For helping me to grow on social media and to walk towards success the field. In my entire journey of music, my husband is the one who has always supported me and he has always been there with me as the second wheel of my life-cart. My journey would have been incomplete without him.

The one incident in my life for my passion of music; which changed my life completely was getting fame over social media. I never thought that people will like me and my singing so much. I started getting a lot of appreciation messages and beautiful comments all across my social media accounts. And later the achievements I received; I felt so heart-warming and motivated that I decided to never stop my passion for music and singing.

Like all singers, I look forward to become one of the renowned singers of Bollywood industry. For that, my future plans are to work on fresh compositions and release them. Dreams do come true if we owe it. Sometimes feeling impossible, doubting yourself, is alright! Just keep going ahead. Don’t stop following your passion at any age because of any reasons. Start small but start soon. Make better use of technology and social media. Be dedicated and consistent, is what I believe.

Passion, means something that gives me a reason to be happy and contented with what I want to do rather than what I have to do!”

Shaveta Nabil still continues to excel in music. She performs as a Celebrity Singer in various shows across India. She is also working on her own compositions which are expected to be out soon. Our deep and heartedly wishes to her for a beautiful life ahead.
