by

This month, Realme celebrated its second birthday, and tomorrow will hold of one its most important events in the recent store. The world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand will hot not a single one, but two events on the same day at two different locations – China and India. Moreover, the company will run a smaller event on May 26, this time for Europe. You can understand now, how important this event is.

Why May 25 is one of the most exciting events for Realme fans and overall technology enthusiasts? According to recent teasers, the company will reveal eight new devices on the same date ranging from smartphones, wearables, and home products. So without further ado, let’s dive in our predictions about tomorrow’s event.

Smartphones

Realme has pretty much made its name thanks to its extensive list of smartphones featuring great specifications and an affordable price tag. Tomorrow, the company will give an important step to further establish its name as a smartphone maker. The company will release, at least, three new devices named Realme X3, Realme X3 SuperZoom, and Realme X50 Pro Player.

Realme X50 Pro Player

The first device is a new gaming-centric version of the company’s current flagship, the Realme X50 Pro. Besides the camera setup, the new handset will come with essentially the same specs of the standard version. That includes the excellent Snapdragon 865 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. These specifications are built around a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an under-glass fingerprint scanner. The handset even boasts X50 Pro’s traditional pill-shaped punch hole for dual selfie snappers.

The camera setup is less impressive. We have a 48MP camera coupled with an 8MP ultrawide unit, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. The handset will run Android 10 with RealmeUI and draws power from a 4,200mAh battery. It comes with a whopping 65W SuperDart Flash Charge. Realme is teasing a new cooling solution that incorporates graphic sheets and vapor chambers. The handset also has stereo speakers.

Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom

The Realme X3 SuperZoom is quite an interesting device. It comes to succeed the last year’s X2 Pro while upgrading the camera setup. For that reason, we have a Snapdragon 855+ SoC running the show. Moreover, the handset will have a telephoto module that offers up to 5x optical zoom using a periscope lens.

The handset will have a 120Hz refresh rate, which is more than the company is offering on its current flagship. But there’s a cost, this panel will be of the LCD variety. For that reason, we have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device is said to sport a 4,200mAh battery with 30W fast-charging.

While details are scarce for the Realme X3 5G, we know that it will sport the Snapdragon 765G chip. Moreover, it will have a less advanced camera setup lacking the periscope lens.

Realme Smartwatch

The company will also reveal its first smartwatch dubbed Realme Watch. It will come in a 1.4-inch form factor and shares a similar ODM design with the Amazfit Bip S. Among the main selling points we have a heart rate and SpO2 monitors, these features are really important and can even help in the COVID-19 crisis. The company will ship its smartwatch with a custom OS platform offering deep integration with Realme smartphones.

Buds Air Neo, Buds Q, Buds Wireless Pro

The Realme Buds Air is pretty much success right now. The company’s TWS division has successfully crossed the 1 million shipments milestone. Now, these numbers are expected to grow with the introduction of new headsets. The first on the list is the Realme Buds Air Neo. The new hearables will be a more affordable, less advanced, version of the original Buds Air. For that reason, they’ll lack some features such as the wireless charging case and the ENC (Environmental Noise Canceling) feature.

The Buds Q apparently is the company’s premium TWS offering for the May 25 event. While features are yet to be revealed they are designed by the French artist Jose Levy.

Last but not least, the company will upgrade its neckband headset portfolio with the new Buds Wireless Pro. Unfortunately, the features coming with it are still unclear. But it ships with a built-in USB-C connector.

Realme TV

The company will give an important step tomorrow with the introduction of its first smart TVs. The new TVs will pack advanced image features but will come at affordable price stages. Realme will follow the successful strategy it has adopted with smartphones. We’re expecting at least two TV flavors – one with 32-inch and another one with 43-inch.

The TVs will feature QLED panels, Chroma Boost Engine, 400 nits of brightness, 24W Quad-Speakers, and a 64-bit Quad-Core MediaTek chipset. According to reports, they’ll run Android TV.

Now what remains to be answered is what are the products coming for India and Europe? In India, at least the new TVs and Smartwatch are confirmed. In Europe, only the Realme X3 SuperZoom and possibly the X3 are confirmed. These important details will only be revealed tomorrow. So stay tuned, for the full coverage of the event.
