Bizarre scenes after car ploughs into boat, Gold Coast

Emergency services have rushed to the scene in Palm Beach this morning, where a car has crashed into a boat on the street.

It happened along Townson Avenue just before 11.00am.

Photos of the crash show the car has gone underneath the boat and it’s trailer, launching it up into the air.

Paramedics say they’re on scene, currently assessing one patient, who appears to be stable at this point.

It appears the crash may be a result of a medical event, however Queensland Ambulance is unable to confirm the person’s age or gender.
