1 man dies and 4 others wounded in shootings at Jackson home

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Jackson police are investigating multiple shootings at a house that left one man dead and several others injured.

The shootings were reported Sunday by local news outlets.

Robert Earl Brown, 37, was shot multiple times and taken to a local hospital by private vehicle. He later died from his injuries, according to Jackson Police spokesman Sam Brown.

Kaswello Williams, who is suspected of shooting Brown, was also shot several times and taken to a hospital nearby. He is currently listed in critical condition.

Three other men were shot but are expected to recover.
