Covid-19: 62 new cases, three deaths in Telangana on Monday

72 Covid-19 positive patients, who recovered at Gandhi Hospital, were discharged on Monday.

Hyderabad: Health authorities on Monday reported 62 coronavirus positive cases and three fatalities.

Apart from the positive cases, 72 Covid-19 positive patients, who recovered at Gandhi Hospital, were discharged on Monday.

The overall number of coronavirus cases in Telangana has now reached 1,920 while the total number of Covid-19 fatalities is 56. With the discharge of 72 persons, the total number of cases that recovered and were discharged is 1,164.

Out of the 62 coronavirus positive cases that were detected on Monday, 31 persons were from areas under GHMC, 15 persons were migrants who returned to the State, 18 persons were foreign evacuees and one coronavirus positive patient was from Maharashtra and another from Rangareddy district, the State health bulletin said.

There are 700 active Covid-19 positive cases at present undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital.
