All villages of 5 mandals in Gajwel supported regulated farming

Siddipet: The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao coined regulated farming has been getting an overwhelming response from villages in Siddipet district. In addition to 73 Panchayats, which have passed a resolution deciding to adopt the regulated farming model, 59 other villages have joined hands on Monday.

Siddipet Collector P Venkatrami Reddy, who informed the same to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao over a video conference, has said that 100 per cent villages in five out of eight Mandals of Gajwel Assembly Constituency, which is spread in Siddipet and Medak districts have passed the resolutions supporting the move.

All the villages in Toopran, Manoharabad, Gajwel, Markook, and Jagadevpur mandals have decided to take up the cultivation by following regulated farming guidelines. Meanwhile, 19 Panchayats of 23 in Mulug Mandal, 22 Panchayats of 27 in Kondapak Mandal, and 12 villages in Wargal Mandal have also decided to go regulated farming way.

The villages, in unison, have observed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao takes the decision just for the farmer’s welfare. Since they have got so much response during the past two days, the officials in Siddipet district have exuded confidence that all the villages in the district will follow suit.

Meanwhile, many Gram Panchayats in Medak and Sangareddy district were also coming forward to adopt the regulated farming.
