Facebook Brings Post Creation To Its Creator Studio App

by

Facebook Page admins now have the ability to publish and schedule posts from within the Creator Studio mobile app.

Back in February, Facebook launched its Creator Studio app iOS and Android, to complement the Creator Studio desktop hub and give creators and publishers across the globe a comparable experience and features. The app, just like its desktop equivalent, allows Page admins to manage their content and track the performance of their activities while connecting with their audiences on Facebook and Instagram.

For most, the mobile app felt a bit “bare bones,” as it lacked simple – but very useful – features. The ability to create posts was one of those – until now. Facebook is starting to roll out an update to Creator Studio on mobile that gives admins the ability to publish and schedule posts on the app.

The upgrade was announced by Victoria Limary, Product Manager for Creator and Publisher Experience, who also laid out some other new features now available to admins through Creator Studio on iOS or Android.

Admins can now also add video metadata – titles and descriptions – to their videos to give viewers more information about their content and to get those viewers to watch more. Finally, admins can now upload a thumbnail for a video, or choose a thumbnail from within one.
