Samsung made mistakes with the Galaxy S20 (details), Galaxy S20 Plus (details) and Galaxy S20 Ultra (details), some of them unfixable. But now the Galaxy Note 20 Plus looks set to fix them all.

Coming from OnLeaks, historically the tech sector’s most reliable insider, we now have our first high resolution look at the Galaxy Note 20 Plus and it puts the cherry on top of a device which already outguns the S20 line-up.
Following somewhat concerning rough renders of the Note 20 line-up earlier in the week, OnLeaks (who has partnered with Pigtou) shows the Note 20 Plus will actually be the sleekest Samsung Galaxy to date. Notably, the Note 20 Plus combines the ultra-thin bezels and tiny punch hole camera of the S20 models but retains the curved display discarded by those models.
In addition to this, OnLeaks reveals it also has the largest screen ever fitted into a Galaxy smartphone at 6.9-inches yet sports a chassis which is virtually identical to the 6.8-inch Note 10 Plus and slightly slimmer (165 x 77.2 x 7.6 mm Vs 162.3 x 77.2 x 7.9 mm). Samsung’s big S Pen redesign also sees it moved to the bottom left side of the phone where, unfortunately, images show the headphone jack is not coming back.
Lastly, OnLeaks’ renders show arguably Samsung’s smartest Note 20 Plus move is its cameras. The company will keep the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s 108MP primary camera (plus ultrawide angle and telephoto lenses) but reduce the unsightly bulge, ditch the gimmicky Space Zoom and add a dedicated focus sensor to address the Ultra’s unfixable focus problems. This gives users the focus-benefits of the S20 and S20 Plus alongside the superior resolution of the S20 Ultra. It’s the best of both worlds.
What we can’t see with the Galaxy Note 20 Plus is also just as appealing as what we can, with previous leaks revealing Samsung will fit superior biometrics, a more power-efficient display and much faster storage. 5G also comes as standard and pricing is expected to significantly undercut the Galaxy S20 Ultra and align closer to the Galaxy S20 Plus, despite its spec sheet more closely aligning with the former.
Yes, for Samsung fans, the Galaxy Note 20 Plus is a no brainer.
