by Y Maheswara ReddyRagini Dwivedi has been busy during the lockdown. Not on the sets of a film but helping people whose lives and livelihoods have been affected by the pandemic.
From visiting police stations and Victoria Hospital to supply snacks and food, Ragini has been working quietly with volunteers. The actor, celebrated her 30th birthday on Sunday, when the city was under a total lockdown. Since she was homebound, Ragini will visit an NGO for vision impaired children on Monday.
But over the last month, Ragini and some volunteers have been supplying food to guest workers and ration kits to junior artistes from TV and cinema. And with her mother’s help, she has also been supplying homemade food to Covid-19 warriors at the Victoria Hospital.
Keshav, a staff nurse at Victoria Hospital, said he was happy that the actor was supplying food to the doctors and nurses at the Victoria Hospital.
“I have supplied ration kits to around 2,000 needy people, in and around Yelahanka and other areas’’ she said.
