$500k drought package for Northland, north Waikato

The Government has announced a $500,000 drought relief package for Northland and north Waikato.

Agriculture Minister Damien O'Connor said this evening $500,000 would be shared between the two regions and be given to local mayoral drought relief funds to hand out.

The money could then be used for the purchase and delivery of feed supplies.
