Which player from an earlier era could have been a T20 superstar?

Have your say

We asked fans to tell us which player from a previous era, they think, could have been a hit in T20 cricket. Here are the responses.

While T20 is the shortest and the fastest cricket format, it is more than just a demonstration of power-hitting. It is also a means to showcase skill and character. There have been several flamboyant cricketers in the past, who have mesmerised fans with their no-holds-barred style and their ability to drive a game with their individual performances.

It is hard to think of a more powerful batsman than Viv Richards and he would have definitely lit the shortest format on fire.

Sri Lanka great Aravinda de Silva's exploits in ODIs, could easily have translated into successes in T20Is.

While T20 is generally considered a batsman's game, there are some bowlers like Wasim Akram, who would have been a force to reckon with.

Mark Waugh, Kapil Dev, Kris Srikanth, Gilbert Jessop ... the list is endless. One can only imagine the havoc these superstars would have wrecked.

Who else would you put on this list?
