Air travel expands: Tallinn airport offers fights to seven countries

As travel restrictions in the Baltics are lifted, the Tallinn Airport offers from this week flights to nine destinations in Latvia, Lithuania and five other countries, Estonian public broadcaster reports.

From Monday, May 25, flights are available from Estonia’s main airport to:

– Kärdla, Hiiumaa, Estonia, operated daily by Transaviabaltika;

– Kuressaare, Saaremaa, Estonia, operated daily by Transaviabaltika;

– Riga, operated once a day by Finnair;

– Vilnius, operated once a day by Finnair;

– Amsterdam, operated once per day by Finnair;

– Copenhagen, operated three times per week by Lufthansa;

– Frankfurt, operated one a day by Lufthansa;

– Helsinki, operated twice a day on weekdays and once on Saturdays by Finnair;

– Oslo, operated twice per week by AirBaltic.

Just last Friday, on May 22, the only flight destinations available from Tallinn were two domestic routes, to Hiiumaa and Saaremaa, ERR reports.
