"I would have been scared to play, cancelling Ligue 1 was the best decision"

The Portuguese Adrien Silva, on loan at Monaco from Leicester, valued the cancellation of the French league in 'Record' and compared it to what is happening in the Bundesliga.

"There are more important things than economics or our desire to play football. It's definitely the best decision," he said in 'Record'.

"I wouldn't feel able to compete, I'd be afraid for me and my people. Besides, the Bundesliga has shown that the rush is not good, with all the injuries that have occurred," concluded the midfielder.
