Arsenal join queue for Coutinho

by

Bayern haven't exercised the option to buy Coutinho nor will do they do so, and his future is wide open. Arsenal are the latest team to queue up among his Premier League suitors.

Barcelona are in the situation to see what to do with Coutinho and decide between opting for his return or giving him a way out. In the Premier League they are already insisting and clubs are joining his list of suitors.

The latest, according to 'Le10Sport', is Arsenal. Mikel Arteta's side are interested in signing the Brazilian, who they see as an important reinforcement for next season and with the need to improve the sporting image.

But Coutinho will not leave for a low price and we will have to see what capacity the Gunners have in the middle of the crisis. Their rivals, for now, are Newcastle and Chelsea.

Coutinho's future is wide open. Bayern CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge already announced in 'Der Spiegel' that they will not exercise the option to buy.

"The option expired and we haven't activated it, now we're going to draw up squad planning internally (for next season) and we'll see if he still has a role to play with us or not", he affirmed.
