3 healthcare workers of SDMC test +ve

Three healthcare workers of South Delhi Municipal Corporation have tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday. Following it, the civic body has conducted test of 35 other staff and report is still awaited.

A senior SDMC official said that three confirmed cases of Dr Bhomik, Ankit and Ranjit reported. “All were deputed at SDMC’s Mehrauli health centre and found corona positive on Saturday,” he said.

The official further said that Dr Bhomik is admitted in Safdarjung hospital while Ankit and Ranjit are home quarantined. “Covid-19 test of other 35 staff of the Mehrauli public health centre was also conducted and report still awaited,” he added.

Disinfection drive was also carried out at the centre, he said.
