Now, MCL to pay PF, pension online

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) CMD BN Shukla on Saturday inaugurated a system of centralised payment of Coal Mines provident fund and pension to the superannuated employees of the company.

The system was inaugurated in the presence to Director (Technical/Ops) OP Singh, Director (Finance) KR Vasudevan, Director (Personnel) Keshav Rao and Director (Technical/P&P) Baban Singh.

“Our objective is to bring greater transparency in the business operations with extensive use technology,” said Shukla. He congratulated teams of officers of the company’s Pension and PF, Finance and Personnel departments, who have worked on the project under the guidance of the Director (Finance) and Director (Personnel).

Vasudevan informed about the operational benefit of the system, which will have zero-human interference and enables the company in making centralized payments of CMPF and pension with administrative charges to the CMPF Office.

The Centralised payment will ensure better monitoring of processing of payment for the company and timely payment. It will also ensure proper utilization of fund at HQs. The whole process flow is automated to render it fast, transparent and error free with minimum human intervention.
