In wake of the coronavirus crisis, job searches for remote work in India have soared over 377 per cent during February to May, reveals a recent report by job portal Indeed. Job seekers are ready to take a salary cut in order to have access to remote working options. 53 per cent of employees would consider taking a pay cut in order to have access to remote working options. However, the number of available job postings for remote work opportunities has remained relatively unchanged during the same time period, it added.
Reliance launches JioMart services in over 200 cities; to take on Amazon, Flipkart
A month after successfully conducting a pilot across areas in Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan, Reliance Retail's online venture JioMart on Saturday expanded its services across several towns and cities. JioMart will deliver groceries in more than 200 towns across the country. Customers can now log on to the newly-launched Reliance Industries' e-commerce portal, jiomart.com, to buy groceries, fruits, vegetables and other daily-need stuff. The JioMart app has not yet been made live.
