Kevin Magnussen "confident" in Haas ahead of 2020 season

by

Kevin Magnussen says that he is confident that Haas will be able to be competitive in 2020 following their horror season last year. Magnussen only managed to score 20 points in 2019 as Haas found it tough to find consistency in races after often strong qualifying.

The Dane will be entering his fourth season with the American team in 2020 and he is hoping he will be able to challenge in the top ten more regularly after only four points finishes last year.

Magnussen said in a Q&A on Haas' website that he expects more from this season: “I guess it depends on how the pre-season test has gone. If the test shows you’ve got a bad car, then the expectation for the first race is a little bit different.

"Similarly, if you know you’ve got a good car, then you’re very excited for the first race. I’m very excited for the test this year. I’m confident we’ll have a good car.”
