Lil’ Hector Lombard is making his way to the bare-knuckle arena for Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) 10, going down this Sat. night (Feb. 15, 2020) inside Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

While “Shango” “Showeather” “Lightning” was never blessed with height, he looks particularly small in his face off against fellow headliner David Mundell, who may have pulled a “Fletch” and gained six inches with that giant cowboy hat.

“He wants to knock me out,” Lombard said at the promotion’s pre-fight press conference. “I see the way he’s looking at me, but that will not happen. We are going to have fun on Saturday! I cannot wait.”

Lombard, who departed UFC after losing six straight, will be making his BKFC debut while Mundell — no stranger to mixed martial arts (MMA) — is already 2-0 for BKFC with a pair of first-round finishes.

“He’s a retired Olympian,” Mundell said. “He retired from MMA, and come Saturday night, I’m planning on retiring him from BKFC too.”
