Police officers looking to trace a man after money stolen from Pitlochry church

Those with information are asked to come forward

Money has been stolen from charity boxes in a Perthshire church.

The money was taken from a church on Rie-Achan Road in Pitlochry at around 2.15pm on Thursday, February 13.

Police officers investigating the thefts are keen to speak to man who is in his 40s.

The man is described as 5’6’’ tall, wearing a flat cap, navy top with light sleeves, navy trousers and white trainers, carrying a dark rucksack.

Anyone with information which may be useful is asked to contact Police Scotland’s Tayside division on 101 quoting the crime reference number 1860 of February 13.
