Jurassic World 3 to Bring Back Two Characters Missing From Fallen Kingdom
by Narayan LiuWhen Owen and Claire escaped Isla Nublar and unleashed the dinosaurs upon the American continent in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, they did so without Lowery Cruthers and Barry Sembene, who seemingly disappeared from the trilogy. That will change with Jurassic World 3.
Both Jake Johnson and Omary Sy have joined the cast of the final instalment of Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World trilogy, reprising their roles from the 2015 film. Johnson played Cruthers, the control room operator with a wry wit, who stayed behind to help Claire and the others escape the Jurassic World theme park. Sy played Sembene, Owen's fellow velociraptor trainer, who aided Owen and the soldiers in their battle against the Indominus rex. Details concerning how the two will return or in what capacity they will serve the plot are currently unknown.

Alongside the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom cast, consisting of actors Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Justice Smith and Daniella Pineda, Johnson and Sy will also be accompanied by the cast of 1993's Jurassic Park-- Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, who will return to the franchise as Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Ian Malcolm, respectively.
Jurassic World 3 is set to begin production this summer, according to Goldblum, who revealed as much late last year.
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World 3, starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum. The film is set to be released on June 11, 2021.
