Stranger Things season 4: Maya Hawke raises good question about that trailer

by

Stranger Things fans are quite rightly going bananas after the season four trailer confirmed Jim Hopper is alive and ‘The American’. But Maya Hawke has questions as Hopper was seen building a railway track.

David Harbour – who has been trolling us all by insisting he had no idea if Hopper was returning to Stranger Things – shared the teaser today alongside the caption: ‘For the faithful, Happy Valentine’s Day.’

The clip zooms into the icy field of Russia with Hopper among dozens of prisoners at work building a railway track using old school hammers and nail with armed guards watching their every move.

But Maya, who stars as Robin in the trippy sci-fi epic, has the same question as the rest of us: ‘Is that even how you build a train track? ?’

She has a point.

Sharing their excitement, showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer warned we’re about to endure the ‘most frightening’ season yet.

‘We’re excited to officially confirm that production on Stranger Things 4 is now underway – and even more excited to announce the return of Hopper!’ they spilled.

‘Although it’s not all good news for our “American”; he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other. Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long-buried, something that connects everything….

‘Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more. In the meantime — pray for the American.’

Now we just need to know how Hopper survived the blast at the end of season three…

Stranger Things 4 is expected to launch in 2021.
