Control and Untitled Goose Game were the big winners at the 2020 DICE Awards

The 23rd annual DICE Awards took place on February 13, with Control and Untitled Goose Game walking home with multiple awards.

Both games were up for Game of the Year at the 2020 DICE Awards, alongside Disco Elysium, Outer Wilds, and Death Stranding – but Untitled Goose Game took home the coveted award.

Death Stranding and Control are also up for Game of the Year at the GDC Awards in March, alongside Outer Wilds and Untitled Goose Game.

Untitled Goose Game took home three awards in total as it also won for Independent Game and Character.

Control won awards for Action Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction, and Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition.

Two awards were handed to Death Stranding: Outstanding Technical Achievement and Outstanding Achievement in Audio Design.
